Prepare the Way!

Advent is a time for preparation. Much of the holiday season is given over to rush and bustle, leaving little time for pondering the meaning of this time. We are called to prepare and ready our hearts for holiness.

In this spirit of preparation, we are preparing the Sanctuary and other church spaces for Advent and the Christmas Season on Wednesday, November 25th, starting at 9:30 AM.

If you would like to help, please meet in the Sanctuary at 9:30 AM. For additional information, contact Pauleta Hendrickson (

POLO Studio Tour

Let’s all “tune in” to a special studio tour of KOB-TV (Channel 4) on Thursday, December 10th, followed by lunch at Church Street Café in Old Town.

We’ll meet at 10:15 AM at the KOB-TV station headquarters located at 4 Broadcast Plaza SW for the 40-minute tour, after which we’ll drive to Church Street Café for lunch. We’ll order from the menu, so the only cost for this event is your lunch. We would like to have a count of the number attending, so please use the sign-up sheet in the Hospitality Center.

Come and relax with your POLO friends, and make this a “get away” day from the hectic pace of holiday planning.
